CONGRATULATIONS on your orders to the Coastal Systems Station (CSS), located near the "World's Most Beautiful Beaches," Panama City Beach, Florida. The Relocation Assistance Office would like to personally welcome you to Panama City. When you arrive, be sure to call the Career Development & Resource Center (CDRC) if you have questions about the area, Station, spouse employment or transition assistance. We provide information and referral for resources available in the community and at other nearby military installations. We're located in the CSS Welcome Center, Building 304 with the Chaplain, Social Worker, Navy Relief, Personal Property, and Housing Office.
If you have "hard copy" orders, and have not been contacted by a sponsor, contact your gaining command to request one. Sometimes sponsorship is not an automatic process. It takes you and your sponsor to make sure the Sponsor Program works. Your sponsor will be the primary point of contact for a Welcome Aboard Package and information on your new Command, Naval Station and the Panama City area. You may also call or email the Career Development & Resource Center (CDRC) to request a Welcome Aboard Package. The CDRC number is 850-235-5800 (DSN 436) and the email address is mccombsca@ncsc.navy.mil. Our Welcome Aboard Packages contain housing, community and Station information.
