Robins AFB is located in Middle Georgia, 100 miles south of Atlanta and 16 miles south of Macon.
Warner Robins Air Logistics Center (WR-ALC) Mission
Robins Air Force Base is the state's largest industrial complex performing a wide range of logistics activities. The Warner Robins Air Logistics Center supports the goals and objectives of the Air Force Materiel Command and other related Air Force/DOD activities by providing affordable combat superiority, readiness, and sustainability to our customers, the war fighters. WR-ALC provides worldwide logistics management, engineering, and organic depot maintenance for the F-15, C-5, C-141, and the C-130. WR-ALC has worldwide management and logistics support responsibility for the U-2 Dragon Lady, all Air Force helicopters, all special operations aircraft, missiles, vehicles, and general purpose computers. In addition, WR-ALC manages and repairs numerous avionics and electronic warfare systems used on almost every aircraft in the Air Force.

Comment : The Office of Public Affairs is charged with managing the internal information, media relations and community relations programs at Robins Air Force Base as well as the security review of material for public release.
The director of Public Affairs, on behalf of the Warner Robins Air Logistics Center commander, is the official spokesperson for the base. Any official contacts with off-base news media, as well as speeches or other types of presentations, must first be coordinated with the Office of Public Affairs. Also, the office is responsible for releasing information to outside news media such as newspapers, radio, and television stations.
