Your assignment to Luke brings you to the Valley of the Sun in central Arizona, one of the most scenic places in the country! Luke AFB is located approximately 20 miles west of Phoenix Arizona. The City of Glendale has annexed Luke as part of their municipality. The base is physically located 10-12 miles from Glendale proper and the city of Peoria. Telephone Access: As of 1 April 99, the Area Code for Luke AFB changed from 602 to 623.
