Welcome Aboard! The Coast Guard Integrated Support Command encompasses 23,000 acres of land. It is the only Integrated Support Command in the Coast Guard that supports both cutters and aircraft.

Personnel assigned to Integrated Support Command Kodiak play a key role in Coast Guard operations in Western Alaska. Along with providing services for visiting cutters from the Pacific Area, the Integrated Support Command team provides administrative, logistical, and family support to the following thirteen operational units on Kodiak. These units combine to make the Kodiak complex the largest operational base in the Coast Guard.

Relocation can be very stressful, especially if you and your family are not fully informed of what to expect. The transportation and PERSRU offices at your departing and arriving unit are critical to a sucessful transfer. Your sponsor is the key to important unit information and the Transition-Relocation Manager at Work-life is available to provide additional information should you have any problems or questions.

ALSO PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT ISC KODIAK HAS LIMITED GOVERNMENT HOUSING AVAILABLE THIS TRANSFER SEASON. ENLISTED FAMILIES QUALIFIED FOR 3 AND 4 BEDROOM HOUSING UNITS CAN EXPECT A 2-YEAR WAIT TO OBTAIN GOVERNMENT HOUSING MATCHING THEIR BEDROOM NEEDS. IN THE INTERIM, THESE MEMBERS WILL HAVE THE OPTION OF ACCEPTING 2 BEDROOM GOVERNMENT HOUSING (IF AVAILABLE) OR OBTAINING HOUSING ON THE LOCAL ECONOMY THROUGH RENTAL AND PURCHASE. 3 AND 4 BEDROOM RENTAL UNITS IN KODIAK ARE LIMITED AND RELATIVELY COSTLY.

OFFICIALS CONDUCTING OCONUS SCREENING MUST GIVE CAREFUL CONSIDERATION TO HOUSING NEEDS AND FINANCIAL SITUATION PRIOR TO REQUESTING ENTRY APPROVAL. WAIVERS REGARDING FAMILY SIZE MUST BE REQUESTED IAW PERSMAN ART 4.H.6.b. WAIVERS MAY NOT BE GRANTED DUE TO LIMITED HOUSING SUPPLY.
